For my project today, I chose three of the dies from the release and I made a piece of art that I plan to put inside a frame and hung up in our home.
I know for sure that the Jumbo Garden Picks Layering Die Set will be a hit with Altenew fans, so I thought I would showcase the die in a different way, by just using the leaves! I am experimenting with different colour combinations at the moment so I had a lot of fun putting this together for you all.
I have created a quite video showing how I assembled this art piece:
The Linear Pathway Alpha – Outline and the Solid Die Set can be used by themselves, but I thought it would be cool to layer them on top pf each other for a most art deco kind of feel. If you are familiar with my work, you would know that I do love combining black and gold together for that bold pop of colour.
I assembled and arranged the leaves in a symmetrical pattern which is a trick I often use if I want to fill out a large area in my projects. If the embellishments are symmetrical, then I know the whole layout will look balanced and more pleasing to the eye.
