Altenew Whimsical Wonder Stamps/Dies/Stencils/Embossing Folders Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

For my mixed media art journal page I used the Floral Art Stamp and Die Set. I kept the colours to a minimum and added Embossing Paste in the background for subtle texture and an airy feel.
I used Antique Gold Embossing Powder for the outlie of the stamp, die cut it, and then watercoloured it using the Watercolor 36 Pan Set. I stamped the sentiment from the same set with Obsidian Pigment Ink, which I think are just as applicable on a card or an art journal!
I added Embossing Paste to the background using the Broken Chevron Stencil and added splatters with Jet Black Spray Ink.
To finish the art journal page, I added Metallic Thread and Sequins and then stuck the motif down with matte gel medium.

Lovely cards Tania. The coloring is so pretty on that Folk Art image. I love that it has a matching die! It adds a great touch to the card when you can pop up the main image. 🙂
